About Taiwan Society of Geriatric Emergency and Critical Care Medicine (TSGECM)
Taiwan Society of Geriatric Emergency and Critical Care Medicine (TSGECM) was established in 2004. The goal of TSGECM is to promote academic study, education and application in geriatric fields. We periodically hold seminars, lectures and conferences to discuss and collect significant results which make our society one of the most thriving medical groups in Taiwan.
There are more than 900 members registered in TSGECM. To provide latest knowledge and information to our members, we hold more than 30 academic activities each year. TSGECM assists members to access latest lectures. Therefore, our members are equipped with outstanding skills and professional knowledge.
TSGECM publishes its own publication seasonally. The International Journal of Gerontology (IJGE) was launched in 2007 for medical professionals and investigators from all corners of the world to show their achievement in studies of gerontology. IJGE aims to explore and clarify the medical science and philosophy in geriatric fields, including those in the emergency and critical care medicine. The IJGE is determined not only to be a professional journal in gerontology, but also a leading source of information for the developing field of geriatric emergency and critical care medicine. It is a pioneer in Asia.
